LOOMING UNCONTROLLED ATTACKS NATIONWIDE

 Mohammed Adamu, has instructed the personnel of the police force to protect themselves against attacks. Considering the looming envisaged Nationwide on his men, he has no option than to advise his men that they have the right to defend themselves in any case of physical danger.

This was contend in his message during an assessment tour of the Federal Capital Territory Police Command in Abuja, where he encouraged the gallant men of the nation who had left their duty post due to the violence that struck the nation. According to IGP the#EndSARS protesters were out to frustrate the police.

He furthermore, stated that discouraging the men of the force will be tantamount to the criminal elements taking over the entire nation, knowing fully well that the security of the nation is on the shoulder of the police force. If the services of police force is compromised, the peace, unity and security of the nation will be totally jeopardised, even though that no amount of frustration and attacks on his men would cripple their statutory services

It is obvious that our primary duty is to protect life and properties, but being human we also need protection. With Government on our side, every officer is adviced to be civic and abide by the rules of our profession without giving room for assults the IGP stressed.
