CHIEF JUDGE REJECTED BY LAWYERS

 Lawyers in Cross River State blocked the entrance of Governor Been Ayade's office requesting that the selection of a substantive Chief judge in the State be done.

Due to the failure of NSC National Judicial Commission, to ratify the selection of Justice Maurice Eneji as Chief Judge, the Governor of the state Been Sworn in Justice Effiom Ita as acting Chief Judge, this did not go down well with the Legal Practioners which was why they stormed the Governor-s office yesterday.

The lawyers grievances were that the absence of a Chief Judge had paralyzed the effective  dispensation of Justice in the State
